*Issues that shouldn't be called "issues" but still are nevertheless

 *Sort of prejudice too 

Hello! So, this is going to be one of my more SRS BSNS (serious business) posts of my thoughts on certain matters and hopefully you'll agree or agree to disagree. I just wanted to open your eyes a little, unless if that is they already are indeed open to these matters. 

Homophobia- I have a lot to say about this one, and frankly I don't see why its considered an issue to some people. No I am not a gay, lets get that point cleared up. See, some people who are opposed to those who are gay think that they want to smother themselves over that gender of which they are attracted to. For example, "Ew, that girl's so weird! I heard she's a ....lesbian... I am so scared! What if she tries to rape me?!" This is something that we need to clear up, first of all gay people or just like straight people, humans. Therefore they have their own tastes in the gender to which they are attracted to. Lets take a straight girl for this example, she thinks blonde guys are hot but only if they have brown eyes and freckles, she thinks guys who don't quite qualify in that area are seen as "rather boring" in the looks category, lesbians, I can assure you, think the very same way, they think some girls are attractive while others aren't really their type. Same with gay guys. Now that square one is complete how about the second? It's not the fact that your opposed to those who are gay and you despise every bit of their existence, its the fact that you just don't understand it. All I'm saying is, don't let your prejudice-ness get in the way of other peoples happiness. They're humans like you, they just want to be loved and accepted and some of them are, which is great but most of the time--not so much. 

Muslims- I will say this much: no one, no one, not even an entire race should be classified as terrorists, for something that happened years ago. I understand that it cost hundreds, if not thousands of people their lives, but really, telling your children that those people who wear long black scarves wrapped around their heads are all evil terrorists and they all had something to do with 9/11 is something that will never cease to blow my mind. My point is, it was a group of people not an entire race. They wear those scarves for Islamic purposes because they believe modesty and who they are, not because they're making a battle cry. 

Religion- Whatever religion you may be, you are always, always, always (I felt for that last always so hard it became underlined AND italicized) classified into a single category one of them being, you're homophobic and are of the "god squad". While I am not going to sit here and say this is not true because it is, how would I know? Well, I'm a Christian. I won't shove it down you're throat, in fact thats probably the last I'll mention it. This one isn't quite as important as the other two but it's still a "biggie" in my mind at least. We're not all the same, I mean sure some of us do take the bible or the holy word far too seriously and it embarrasses the other who aren't as hardcore as them just remember some of us are understanding and wont drench you in the holy word every second possible. I feel like I could write more for this one, but that's really all I have to say. 

Those are some of the topics that have really been on my mind as of late. If you want me to brush up on one I may have forgotten or one you think should be heard, don't be afraid to voice you opinion. Speak up, my child. 

Did I rant enough? *calm yoga instructor voice* Let it soak you...
